Yep here's your chance to win an Invite!! Sorry I haven't done much with the blog lately, but have been busy with school and the 5 kids! Anyway back to this weeks contest and how you can win. Since I have an old Series 2 Tivo and with yesterdays announcement of Tivo's new Tivo Premier I figured we could correlate that with the contest. To win you have to find me the best deal for the new premier in which I can also transfer my lifetime subscription or best way to hack my other series 2(which does not have a subscription) to have a lifetime subscription. Tivo is offering a receiver for $299 and a $200 discount to transfer my subscription so total would be $500 to get the new Tivo Premier and lifetime sub. Now on the hacking of my other series 2 to get a lifetime sub I believe there is away to do it but you need a program called 2.5xtreme and I can't find anywhere to download it from. Demonoid back soon!!

That's right! I'm going out on a limb here, but I believe my hunch is true. No one has notified me and I haven't read this anywhere. Why do I say this then? Well if you look to the right and a little down on this blog you will see a picture of the Demonoid dude. This is a link to demonoid that they let members use on their sites and blogs to link to the site. When the website is down the picture is not available,because the picture is actually hosted on the demonoid site itself. Test it yourself. Go to the picture of the demonoid dude, right click him and choose properties. The window that pops up show the url address where the picture is hosted (Address url). Copy the address and paste it into your web address bar and hit enter. Whala! You are in demonoid!! I think this means that they are getting most of the code for the site completed! Hope so!! Hail demonoid!!

Demonoid Update!

I know I'm a little behind on updating the status of Demonoid,but what do you expect from a middle aged college student with 5 kids. Anyway, since demonoid's tracker has been noticed as being used again,the site has updated it's follower's posting a message on the home page. If you go to their home page, www.demonoid.com, you will see this message displayed---
" Maintenance

Edit: There are some rumors about the site shutting down for good and we starting a new tracker next year. the rumors are of course, lies. There are no plans of shutting down or creating another site.

And there is NO official twitter/facebook/any other web community page for Demonoid. There are a few around that were created by fans and have no link to the site or staff.
The parts of the site code that got deleted are being rewritten and should be ready soon. We are also working to try and minimise the data loss as much as possible.
